Programs

              

The Grand fulfills its mission through the following goals: 1. Present high-quality touring artists in theatre, music, dance, opera, children's programming, and other performance genres that engage and enrich the lives of diverse communities. 2. Restore, improve, and manage the historic Grand 1894 Opera House complex, (which includes the theatre and the attached apartment building) as a leading performance venue, meeting current and evolving needs of performing artists and audiences. 3. Pursue partnerships and collaborations that assist in bolstering the Galveston economy. 4. Foster best business practices as befits The Grand 1894 Opera House. In the 2009-2010 season, over 80,000 patrons attended events.
