Special Pals, Inc provides cats and dogs temporary shelter, health care, an alternative to euthanasia, adoptive homes. They are a limited intake, no kill shelter that served over 1,000 animals last year. They also provide education to the community about the responsibilities of pet ownership and the importance of spaying and neutering.
