Programs

              

The Houston Human Society maintains and operates the following programs: Animal Adoptions, Education, Animal cruelty investigations, Low-cost wellness clinic with $30 spay/neuter surgeries, a Public pet cemetery, and accepts all animals to its animal shelter. The Houston Humane Society cares for more than 47,000 dogs, cats, birds, small mammals, and livestock each year. In 2013, the Houston Humane Society provided 11,228 spay and neuter surgeries, 16,912 rabies vaccines and served 36,394 patients.
