  • The board of directors does not have a written policy stating that, at least every two years, an appraisal be done assessing the organization’s performance and effectiveness and determining future actions required to achieve its mission.

Programs

              

One in four girls and one in five boys are sexually abused by the time they reach their 18th birthday. ChildSafe provides a comprehensive outpatient treatment program for victims and their non-offending family members. The program combines individual, group, and family therapy, as well as Neurofeedback -- a form of biofeedback treatment. Therapists work with clients to start healing the trauma of sexual abuse as well as other types of trauma, abuse, and neglect ChildSafe believes in a comprehensive, community-based approach to the problem of child sexual abuse. ChildSafe therapists coordinate services with law enforcement, child protection agencies, schools, medical professionals, and other mental health providers.
