Northern Kentucky Legal Aid Society provides civil (non-criminal) legal assistance designed to alleviate the problems low-income individuals may experience in 33 counties in northern, central and northeastern Kentucky, including Boone, Campbell, Kenton, Gallatin, Carrol, Grant, Owen, and Pendleton Counties through its Covington office. These services are typically in the areas of government benefits, consumer, housing, and family law. The service that the attorneys from the organization provide is a tool that may help people in emergency situations meet their basic needs for food, shelter, medical care, and freedom from financial or physical abuse.
