Promotion of Fair Housing Program provides assistance to clients who feel that they are victims of illegal housing discrimination. HOME may intervene between the landlord and client to resolve issues of illegal discrimination, or may counsel the client on the options that they have to resolve their complaint.

Housing Assistance Program works with families with Section 8 housing vouchers, who would like to move into areas with better security, better schools and public services, and a better environment for raising a family. HOME recruits landlords to join the program and make affordable housing available to these clients.

In collaboration with the United Way of Greater Cincinnati, HOME offers Affordable Housing Program, which works with organization in various communities to develop plans and programs to revitalize the community’s housing options.

In addition, the United Way and Home provides the Eviction Prevention Program, which works to prevent evictions by intervening between landlords and tenants who have conflicts that may result in the eviction of a family. HOME may intervene directly or refer the conflict to the Housing Mediation Services as a service to resolve the conflict.
