Programs

Women’s Crisis Center provides confidential services at no cost to the individuals and families seeking assistance. The charity provides services to victims of domestic violence, rape, and sexual abuse through five walk-in locations and two shelters throughout a thirteen county region in Kentucky (Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Fleming, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson counties). These services include a 24-hour crisis hotline, crisis intervention, individual (short-term and clinical) and group counseling, hospital and court advocacy. Non-Residential Program provides crisis intervention, safety planning, individual and group counseling and court and hospital advocacy services for adults and children, who are victims of domestic violence, rape and sexual abuse. Prevention Education Program is presented to children, adolescents, and adults in order to raise awareness of the issues of domestic violence and sexual assault in a variety of forums, including schools, preschools, universities, churches, and health fairs. Emergency Shelter Program provides temporary safe haven in addition to services designed to empower adults and children, who are victims of domestic violence, to make the transition from abusive relationships to safe and self-sufficient lives. Pet Protection Program places pets into “safe houses” until the family can reunite. This allows the family time to make plans for their safety without worrying about the care and safety of their pets.
