Programs

The Butler County Rape Crisis Program is available 24-hours a day, 365 days a week to provide confidential help, support, and information for sexual assault victims and their loved ones. A law enforcement liaison works with victims who choose to pursue criminal charges against their offenders and victim advocates are available to provide support at local hospitals. The program also provides personal safety programs for children and rape awareness and prevention programs for teens and adults. Butler County 2-1-1 assists with finding community, health, and human services with information and referral specialists available 24-hours a day and seven days. This service is free and confidential for residents of Butler County. The 24 HR Hotline consultants provide confidential support, suicide prevention, and referrals for community members who are dealing with issues such as domestic violence, sexual abuse, and mental health problems, such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders, or schizophrenia. The Therapy Program provides face-to-face outpatient therapy services using cognitive behavioral models to help clients. The goal of the program is to provide mental health services to adults, families, couples and children in the community, as well as individuals in Butler County and the surrounding counties, who might otherwise not have affordable access to these needed services. Therapy and support are provided in the following areas: depression and mood disorders, grief and loss, anger management, relationship and family issues, physical or sexual abuse, eating disorders, and children’s behavioral problems.
