City Gospel Mission works with the homeless of the Greater Cincinnati area. The charity partners with local churches, and volunteers, to mend lives and serve as a bridge between people of faith and people who have lost hope. According to the charity, each year the Mission provides more than 120,000 meals and more than 24,000 nights of shelter to people in need. City Gospel Mission’s programs include: daily feeding programs, chapel services, men’s overnight shelter, clothing ministry, emergency food baskets, The Outlet, the Christmas store, recovery programs for men and women, and discipleship classes.
CityCURE works with at-risk youth and families in need, helping them break the cycle of despair in their lives. The charity helps give children the education, self-esteem, and positive values they need to succeed in life. CityCURE collaborates with local churches to offer creative, relationship-focused programs. These programs include mentoring, free meals, dance and arts training, tutoring, summer camps, and youth groups. According to the charity, CityCURE is currently working with more than 8,000 at-risk youth in over 50 different Greater Cincinnati neighborhoods.
