Programs

              

Catholics United for the Poor (CUP) is a coalition of non-profit social service agencies providing direct assistance to low-income, working poor, and the homeless. Bethany House Services provides a full range of housing, education, and assistance programs. Mary Magdalen House offers a safe place to clean one’s self and clothes, use a phone, receive messages, and mail. Mercy Franciscan at St. John works to improve the health of our community, with a focus on the poor. Our Daily Bread provides food and hospitality to the poor of Over-the-Rhine and surrounding neighborhoods. Over-the-Rhine Kitchen, Walnut Hills Kitchen, and Walnut Hills Pantry serve hot meals and distribute groceries to families and individuals. Society of St. Vincent de Paul of Cincinnati, provides rent, food, and clothing assistance and offers self-sufficiency and job readiness programs. Tender Mercies provides housing and support services to homeless individuals who have histories of mental and/or emotional disabilities. Visions Community Services operates a childcare program, provides crisis intervention, case management, and counseling to low-income young parents to enable them to escape poverty.
