Programs

              

The Arthritis Foundation extends grants to investigators at universities and medical centers regionally and across the country untertaking studies into the causes, treatments and prevention of arthritis, and related diseases. The Arthritis Foundation produces a variety of resources to educate people with arthritis about their disease, inform them about treatments, and provide tips for living well with arthritis. "Arthritis Today," the Foundation's bi-monthly magazine, offers reports on breaking developoments in research and conveys announcements of new treatments. The Arthritis Fundation provides educational programs to raise awareness and educate the community about arthritis prevention and disease management. Through Arthritis Foundation evidence-based exercise programs, participants strengthen muscles, improve flexibility, increase mobility and reduce the pain associated with arthritis. The Juvenile Arthritis Alliance provides the resources and opportunities for local families to learn, connect, and share with others, including a family camp. Grassroots e-advocates and District Ambassadors educate legislators about issues of concern to people with arthritis both at the local and National level.
