Programs

              

Cincinnati Nature Center (CNC) provides hands-on environmental education to children and adults in a 1,600 acre classroom of forest, meadow, farmland, pond and stream on two sites, Rowe Woods near Milford and Long Branch Farm & Trails in Goshen. CNC offers an interdisciplinary approach to learning, which incorporates ecology, natural history, science, social studies and sustainable living into their programs. According to the charity, nearly 10,000 children participate in CNC educational programs each year and more than 70,000 visitors enter the sites annually. CNC serves school districts from throughout the tri-state region through school day fieldtrips, providing age-appropriate environmental education and experiences for children from grades 1-8. Throughout the year, CNC offers guided hikes, bird walks, and educational programs and events for people of all ages. The programs are created in order to connect people to the natural world on which their lives depend.
