Programs

              

Union Institute & University offers undergraduate programs (Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science), masters program (Master of Arts Online with concentrations in creativity studies, health and wellness, history and culture, leadership, public policy, and social issues, literature and writing, psychology, and education; Mater of Arts with concentrations in psychology and counseling; Education Specialist, and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study with concentrations in psychology and counseling), and doctoral programs (Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in ethical and creative leadership, public policy and social change, and humanities and culture, Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology, and Doctor of Education. Many of the academic programs allow individuals the opportunity to customize their course of study and research and faculty advisors are available to aid in creating an individualized path based how an individual learns.

Union Institute & University offers learners the choice of online and low-residency degree options. Low-residency programs combine online and distance learning with a minimum of travel and disruption to the individual’s job to attend flexible class times at an academic center appropriate to the degree. Online programs allow individuals the convenience of distance learning. Individuals are able to communicate with faculty and other learners at times that are convenient for them via phone, email, e-learning platforms, and online.
