Programs

              

East End Adult Education Center (EEAEC) offers Adult Basic Education, GED Test preparation, and academic refresher instruction. The charity also offer job seeking skills training, life skills training, computer training, individual counseling, and drug and alcohol abuse referrals. Students come to EEAC to learn basic literacy and GED Test skills. According to the charity, EEAEC serve about 170 students per year and the majority of students have learning disabilities and problems. Students are tested with the Test of Adult Basic Education and are scoring between the first and ninth grade level in reading, math, and language. Some students have never learned to read in the first place. The charity’s teachers vary their teaching methods, using kinesthetic methods, computer instruction, small group instruction, and individual instruction.
