Programs

The Housing Development Program buys and renovates abandoned properties in the Over-the-Rhine area and creates affordable housing units.  All apartments have fully equipped kitchens and private bathrooms with secure entrances.

The Property Management Program reaches out to those overlooked by the conventional housing market.  The program is able to lessen the number of individuals living on the streets.  The charity provides property management services for 380 units of housing.

The Resident Engagement Neighbors service has neighbors formally meet one another by becoming involved in various programs, which helps break through the isolation in the community.  According to the charity, approximately 130 households have been served through the program.

The Volunteer Program has involved over 400 individuals providing over 2300 hours of labor.  These volunteers, mainly high school and college-aged students, have come from over 30 different universities, high schools, churches, youth groups, and businesses.  Volunteers have performed services throughout the neighborhood of Over-the-Rhine in and around 380 units of affordable housing.  Through the labor provided, the charity is able to keep rents low through their unpaid work.
