Programs

              

Cincinnati Public Radio is the broadcast license holder for 90.9 WGUC and 91.7 WVXU, serving the Greater Cincinnati community with classical music, news, and entertainment programming. WGUC provides listeners with current information on community art activities and broadcasts of local music performances. Specifically, WGUC broadcasts Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra’s concerts, Cincinnati Opera, and the Cincinnati May Festival. According to the organization, WGUC in the past year served a weekly audience of more than 150,000. WVXU provides listeners with news, information about local issues, current information on community activities, and broadcasts of important local public affairs. In addition, WVXU broadcasts include National Public Radio (NPR), American Public Media, Public Radio International, and the BBC. The schedule for the radio station includes classic radio, jazz, swing, and blues programs. According to the organization, WVXU in the past year served a weekly audience of more than 200,000.
