Programs

              

Girl Scouts of Western Ohio (GSWO) provides opportunities for girls to get the experiences and tools they need to be successful leaders now and throughout their lives. GSWO engages girls in discovering themselves, connecting with others, and taking action to make the world a better place. These discoveries happen through the “Girl Scout” program. All Girl Scout experiences are intentionally designed to tie to one or more of the four council goals: girls will understand themselves and their values, girls will use their knowledge and skills to explore the world, girls will care about, inspire, and team with others locally and globally, and girls will act to make the world a better place. According to the charity, GSWO served 49,330 girls through the dedication of 13,800 volunteers in 2011.
