Programs

              

Focus on Youth is a faith-based foster care agency that provides foster homes and services to children placed in the foster care system. Ongoing programs of the charity include recruiting and licensing traditional foster homes, foster to adopt homes, and treatment foster homes. In addition, Focus on Youth assists in the placement for adoption of youth in order that they may find permanence in a stable adoptive family. The charity does complete adoption home studies. The charity also matches youth with special needs to foster/adoptive families that are prepared and trained to meet the needs of that youth. Mental therapy is provided for the youth and families. According to the charity, in 2009, Focus on Youth serviced more than 120 youth.
