Programs

              

Clovernook Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired offers a wide variety of programs and services to address living and employment needs of people with visual impairments. Instructional Services - Building life skills through rehabilitation teaching, safe travel instruction, recreational activities, and technology instruction. Social Services - Offers a broad range of supports to help individuals adjust to recent and long term vision loss. Employment Services - This comprehensive service focuses on the individual, not just job placement. It includes an array of strategies geared toward helping individuals prepare for, obtain, and maintain meaningful employment at Clovernook and within the community. Low Vision Services - Assisting individuals with vision loss to make the most of their remaining sight and lead an independent life. Youth Services - Designed to help each child with a visual impairment develop their full potential by offering a variety of learning and social opportunities that are focused on their specific challenges. Adult Day Supports - Provides social, wellness, educational, and recreational activities for retired individuals with visual impairments. Multistate Center East is a circulation center for the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped. Braille and audio publications are distributed to all libraries east of the Mississippi River. Contract Packaging - Providing businesses with economical solutions specializing in: product assembly, kitting, bulk mail preparation, packaging, heat sealing and more. Braille Transcription - According to the charityTranscribes and prints more than 45 million pages of braille each year. Industrial Manufacturing - According to the charity, produces millions of high quality, customized paper goods which include: 100% compostable paper hot cups and file folders.
