Programs

              

Volunteers of America of Illinois has been serving children and families throughout Illinois for more than 115 years through a variety of programs designed to strengthen families, promote safety and well-being in children and empower individuals to transform their lives. Their long tradition of serving those most in need calls them to seek out and restore hope to those who have been forgotten or left behind. They re-build shattered families and broken communities by bringing real solutions to the most vulnerable populations in Illinois. Bringing real solutions means creating positive and lasting change to more than 1,500 people in crisis each year including children in foster care, the elderly and homeless veterans.
