Programs

              

The Carole Robertson Center for Learning operates three sites in the North Lawndale, Little Village, and Near West Side communities on Chicago’s west side. The Carole Robertson Center serves 700 children and youth, ages 6 weeks to 18 years, and their families daily through high quality, comprehensive, developmentally-appropriate curricula. The Center keeps parents engaged and supported through parent education, social services, leadership development, adult education, and support activities. Current programs include center-based and home-based child development programs for children from birth to five years of age; school age and youth programming for children and teens through age 18; extensive family support, social services, and parent education activities; adult education and community training; and embedded program enhancements including bilingual immersion, music education, family literacy, family health education, and a structurized volunteer program. Families served by the Carole Robertson Center are low-income, with 78% living below federal poverty level.
