Purpose

  • Stated Purpose

    The Illinois Currency Exchange Charitable Foundation's purpose is to create & support educational opportunities that enrich the lives of Illinois children. ICECF was formed in 2010, by the Community Currency Exchange Association of Illinois (CCEA), which represents more than 400 Currency Exchanges in Illinois. CCEA created the Foundation as a way to better focus their community and charitable initiatives, which have always been a part of CCEA’s heritage.


Programs

For more than 70 years, CCEA has supported dozens of nonprofits on both the local and national level. They have supported little league teams, had floats in parades, and raised money for both national and international relief efforts from natural disasters. While the Foundation will continue to support a variety of programs the major focus will be on education.
