Starlight Children's Foundation partners with experts to improve the life and health of kids and families.
Programs
Starlight Midwest's programs are designed to be with a child and family, at all points of their medical journey, in the hospital, at home, and online. In the Hospital: Hospital Happenings™ Starlight provides programs and support to over 150 hospital partners in IL, IN, MI, & WI throughout the year. Starlight Fun Centers™, StarPAKs (Pediatric Admission Kits), Holiday Bears, and Party in a Box are a few Starlight programs providing comfort and therapeutic distraction to kids during their hospital stay. At Home: Great Escapes™ Great Escapes are family outings for children who have been diagnosed with a chronic or life-threatening illness. Escapes are designed to create fun, positive memories in a during a challenging medical journey. These carefree, relaxing activities also allow children and parents the opportunity to connect with others on a similar journey. Online: Starbright World®Starbright World® is the first-ever online social network for teens with chronic and life-threatening medical conditions, and their siblings. Members are able to connect globally with others experiencing similar medical journeys.
