Saving Teens In Crisis Collaborative, Inc. (STICC) does not meet the following Standard for Charity Accountability.

Standard 3: Frequency and Attendance of Board Meetings - An organization shall have a minimum of three evenly spaced meetings per year of the full governing body with a majority in attendance, with face-to-face participation. A conference call of the full board can substitute for one of the three meetings of the governing body. For all meetings, alternative modes of participation are acceptable for those with physical disabilities.

STICC does not meet this Standard because:

  • The board of directors did not hold a minimum of three evenly spaced meetings in the past fiscal year.

SAVING TEENSĀ® In Crisis Collaborative (STICC) provides a solution to troubled teens in crisis and their families, with a methodology that incorporates both financial and emotional support throughout a 18-24 month process of evauation, intervention, and education. STICC identifies and supports families with a regime that includes professional evaluation and placement into the therapeutic and educational programs that most closely meet the teen's needs. For the teens to complete this long process, they need the unflinching support of their parents. STICC also provides these parents with guidance and emotional support so that the entire family can stay on track.
