Programs

              

Family Planning Association of Maine (FPA) provides funding, technical support and quality assurance to 44 clinics statewide in addition to operating clinics in Augusta, Belfast, Damariscotta, and Rockland serving the family planning needs of approximately 31,000 low-income Maine women and teens annually. FPA also provides funding and oversees the statewide Family Life Education, Community Partnership, and Outreach services. In addition, FPA conducts research on issues relevant to reproductive health, offers training on the provision of abortion services to physicians, provides first trimester abortion services in Augusta and South Portland, and maintains a full-time statewide public affairs program in Augusta.
