I purchased a Grundig 800 shortwave receiver back in I believe 2007. I have not purchased anything from them since. Several times in the eight years since then I have phoned Universal th questions. Whatever profit margin they had has long since been negated through labor costs from my rookie questions. These people are just plain nice. Customer service? You practically get adopted! I would recommen Universal to friend and foe.
