Complaint: Purchase Information: Problem Area: High Pressure Sales Purchase Date: Total Price: $0.00 Disputed Amount: $0.00 Amount Paid So Far: $0.00 Description: Won't stop canning my business line, three to four times a day. Told them I WAS NOT INTERESTED in their service on four occasions and have reported them to DO NOT CALL three or four times. They are rude, they will not let you get a word in edgewise. I'm angry!!!

Desired Settlement: Satisfactory Solution: MAKE THEM STOP...

Business Response: Integrys Energy Services definitely apologizes for the excessive calls that were received by our marketing partners. I will place the attached number on our Do Not Call List immediately***** ********. Is this the only number we dialed, if not, please provide me with all other numbers so I can add them to the list immediately as well.

Complaint: - I signed a contract with Integrys Energy Services, Inc. to provide electricity at 0.06267 per kWh and received a bill for the past two months at over 0.09 per kWh.- My electricity bill is almost 33% higher because of this discrepancy.- I attempted to contact Integrys but have not been successful. I had to leave a message to an unprofessional sounding voicemail two times without response. This made me worried.

Desired Settlement: I want my contract honored.

Business Response: One week ago, we received a letter from the Better Business Bureau in Ohio indicating that a complaint had been filed against Integrys Energy Services.  On the complaint (attached here), the customer provided a business address in Pennsylvania, which seemed unusual given that the complaint was filed in Ohio, but in the interest of customer concern, we pursued the matter.   We eventually determined that the issue did in fact relate to a contract in Pennsylvania, over which Integrys’ Ohio-based office has no direct influence (i.e., this office doesn’t sell our products and services in Pennsylvania, nor do we provide operational support, customer service, etc., to customers in Pennsylvania)  Further, we learned that since the time of the complaint to the Ohio BBB, the customer (********** *************) had been in direct contact with Integrys employees in Pennsylvania, and that both parties were working toward a solution. Given that both parties are actively working to resolve this dispute – and given that the dispute should have never involved the Ohio BBB or Integrys’ office in Ohio - I believe that this complaint with the can be closed.   Please let me know if this email satisfies the requirements of the BBB.  I’m happy to provide any further documentation that the BBB deems necessary.  We take customer care very seriously at Integrys, and although this particular customer falls outside the scope of our office, we remain committed to standing behind our products and supporting our customers.  

Consumer Response: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *******, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Complaint: I have told these people repeatedly to stop calling here, that we are not interested, but yet the phone calls continue. I have spoke with several managers who tell me they will stop calling, but yet I get at least 2 phone calls a week.
