4/8/2015 STAY AWAY - HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Fortunately, I have not purchased anything from DiscountGlasses.com aka AC Lens. Customer Service is HORRIBLE. Their customer service reps (I spoke to two reps who had no clue what was going on....I was given mis-information, etc. The third time I called, it appeared as though the rep knew what she was doing, but as it turned out, she did could not even help me with my eyeglass prescription (I think I knew more than she did!). To make things worse.... I had my eye on two frames, and I kept going back to the site to look at them to make sure... This spanned close to a week. It seems like all or most of their prices are marked "Sale" and some are marked "Clearance". One frame I was interested in was marked "Clearance" and the price was $59.97....UNTIL the following week! Although still marked "Clearance", the price increased by $10.00, to $69.97!! (previously, it was $59.97). I'm a seasoned shopper and "I've been around the block a few times" but never in my life has something marked "Clearance" ever gone UP in price!!! If anything, it would be sold out...or reduced further! The other frame that was marked "Sale", had also increased in price by $7.00 from the previous week. I contacted customer service to express my disappointment in the price increase, and I asked to speak to a manager. The manager had the customer service rep call me back and tell me that they would honor the prices I saw the previous week. So, the rep told me to place the order on line and when she came in the next morning, she would look at it and make the necessary price adjustments before the order gets put through. However, I had a problem entering my PD (there seemed to be a gliche on the website; my PD kept defaulting to 29/29 although I was entering 58/55. So, in the morning, I called and spoke to the customer service rep and asked her to take my order on the phone, and she was totally lost!!!! In order not to waste any more time, I asked to speak to the manager, so I was transferred to his voicemail and I left a message indicating to him that I would be home for about another three hours and would appreciate it if he calls me back so I can get my order placed properly. He never called me back. Thank G-d I did not order from this horrible company! If this is the way they treat customers BEFORE the purchase, I can only imagine how bad it is AFTER the purchase if there is some type of problem! As a side note, I have been dealing with another website for glasses for three years and have had nothing but positive experiences with that site. The only reason I was trying to use discountglasses.com is because of the two frames that I wanted to purchase (the other site did not have those frames). I have also recommended quite a few other satisfied customers to that site. ******************* if anyone is interested! And no, I do not have any affiliation with *******************, other than being a satisfied customer. But my advice is to stay away from DiscountGlasses.com aka AC Lens. I hope this review saves readers from going through the frustration and wasted time that I had to go through.

8/28/2013 Well I tried to write in their website but they delete my review as they do with every negative review they have. But you can be sure I just made it my life mission to show everyone what this company does- or at least their employers from the help centre. I have never complained about a company in my life and never thought i would take the time to make a negative review on the internet. But people need to be warned so the same thing doesnt happen to them. I ordered my correct prescription, received defected lenses... HAVE all the prooves of my correct order and still they kept my money ( we are talking of A LOT OF money here, as I ordered 12 little packs of toric lenses) and REFUSED TO let me return the lenses and send me the correct prescription i asked for. With the same excuse it was my mistake when I sent them 100 times the email copies that showed otherwise. They kept pushing it over time and saying them replied to me when they havent.. i can´t even imagine the money i just spent today on the phone with them for over one hour from EUROPE, for them to put me on hold 10 times and in the end tell me, we will not send you the correct lenses or give you any money back. Not to mention fooling people, I have never spoke with such rude customer service! Like I told them, I will write reviews everywhere, on all websites and anything I can find on aclenses, youtube videos, i will make youtube videos, and i will even go to court... because what they did to me, it´s just pure stealing and unhuman. I cannot believe a company could do such a thing. People please, since they will of course either delete this or come with their lies to excuse themselves and steal my money, if you want to know more email me at ana.correia@live.com .I have all the printscreens and emails from and to them that I can show you to confirm what I am saying. Maybe their boss is a correct person and would fix the situation but the employers at the help center will just fool you, not pay any attention to the order and if they make a mistake they make u pay for it, they just don´t wanna go to the troube of listening to you or seraching through the system to see what they have done. I now have lost all my money and I have no more money to buy the right contacts and of course I can´t wear the defective ones they sent me. Please be aware, stay away from this company!! And go for the others who will not fool you and take responsibility for the mistakes they do. Mistakes, can happen...its human. But to not admit them and keep your money and worst refuse to send you the lenses with the prescription you ordered... its just disgusting. I am taking this to court because I have never felt so fooled in my life. So they can bet they will deeply regret what they did to this customer here.
