    We contracted with All-Ways Moving and Storage on or about July of 2020 to move and store the contents of our home while our new home was being constructed. When our home was finished, we contacted All-Ways Moving and Storage to schedule delivery. On May 17, 2022 delivery of our furniture and other contents being stored was attempted. We were advised by the delivery employees, prior to opening the truck, that much of our furniture was damaged while being stored. They advised me that the owners of the company were notified, and yet, we were not contacted prior to delivery. As they removed the furniture from the truck, we noticed how badly our furniture was damaged. There were nicks, scratches, mold, water damage and breakage, etc. At this point we insisted that the owner of the company come to our home to witness the extent of the damage. Several pieces and boxes were put into our house prior to his arrival. The movers noticed the extent of the mold on the mattresses and other furniture and advised us not to put them into our home, for fear of our health. However, many boxes and bigger pieces of furniture were already brought into the home. The owner said to leave those pieces in the home and he stopped further deliveries. Our brand new home had to be mold remediated, at our expense. Since that time, we have had no response from their insurance company, other than indicating that its under investigation. Although the owners of the company said that they would take care of the situation, they certainly have not. Our furniture has not been refinished, nor have we been reimbursed for the new mattresses we had to purchase. Most of the furniture remains in their storage unit. We have pictures showing that it was not temperature controlled, which we were assured it was. We desperately need the assistance of the BBB.

    We contracted with ALL-WAYS Moving of Pittsfield ,Massachusetts to move us from our Pittsfield home to a two bedroom apartment we'd rented in South Easton, Massachusetts, we hoped for a very short time, as we tried to purchase a home in Plymouth, where we had lived prior to moving to Pittsfield. Nothing was wrapped and strapped leaving our home as had been done by every other mover we had used. The second bedroom of the apartment was ment to store boxes and wardrobes, but they shoved unwrapped furniture, pieces atop pieces without any protection in there. They damaged 23 pieces of fine furniture including our expensive dining room table which they had in storage. Many items damaged in the move and more in storage.Many pieces they stored "went missing" some still not found, almost 5 months after we retrieved the stored items. Innumerable boxes packed without any wrapping materials resulting in broken items, some beyond precious and not replaceable. A claim for the $ 1500 we spent having furniture repaired was denied because they said it cost them $1000 to totally refinish the dining room table damaged by them in storage. Antique china was wrapped in my dining linens. Five lamps (four china) were wrapped in our neatly folded bedskirt in an antique sea chest. Valuable antique books were thrown loosely into cartons. Valuable oriental carpets were not wrapped and tape wrapped around fringe causing loss of fringe trying to open. We used a very competent moving company to move us out of that apartment. We are renovating our new home and still have much to unpack and dread more damage to be found. We would strongly suggest that other potential citizens requiring a competent and caring moving company steer clear of ALL-WAYS MOVING of Pittsfield, Mass. This company deserves not one star!

    These people refuse to accept responsibility for the multiple cases of damage they caused. We are beyond reasonable people, very experienced at moving from one home to another through the years. There are not two sides to this story - they caused excessive damage because they did not follow good mover protocols, they did not wrap things securely with appropriate packing materials, they did not store our belongings in one "cage" as expected and paid for, they lost items they inventoried and are still lost. We believe we were treated very poorly and continued to be polite through out this traumatic move. There is no way that there are two stories here. They did an awful job, were paid a great deal of money and have never expressed any concern or apologies for their horrible "service". No one should have to have this happen to them and we repeat that this company should be avoided!

    We have been in business for over 40 years and take the work we do and our reputation very seriously. We understand in the Moving Industry that accidents happen and that our employees are amazing, however human. It is our policy to try and fix damage that occurs to help satisfy our customers. Unfortunately, that is not the case in every situation.
