Free document shredding and electronics recycling on April 26
Better Business Bureau serving Central, Coastal, Southwest Texas and the Permian Basin invites consumers and businesses to participate in its bi-annual Shred Day event on Saturday, April 26 from 9 am to noon. Shred Day is an opportunity for local consumers and businesses to prevent identity theft and help the environment through free on-site document shredding, as well as computer and cell phone recycling.
Free shredding and recycling services will be available until noon or until the shred trucks reach capacity. Consumers can bring up to two boxes of sensitive documents per vehicle to be shred on-site. Monetary donations benefiting BBB’s Education Foundation will also be accepted.
