We purchased replacement windows for our entire house from this company, in November 2020, and they installed the windows shortly after this. In July of 2022 one of the larger windows was damaged, resulting in the external glass shattering, while the internal glass was not damaged. I contacted this company (July 21) to have it replaced and spoke with the owner, *********************** (****), who assured me that this could be taken care of pretty easily. He stated that it may take awhile because he didn't have one in stock and would have to special order it, and this could take 2-4 weeks. Additionally, he offered to have someone install the window when it came in. This was the bottom sash of a large tilt-in bedroom window. He stated that the price would be $167. Many weeks passed, and I periodically checked in with ****, only to be told August 4 that it was still in process and his most recent update from the manufacturer to send it would be August 16...that was about 5 weeks ago and still no word. At this point, on September 23, I contacted the company that manufactured the window (MI ******************************* in ************) and told them of my ongoing problem. They promptly gathered all the information and stated that they would send me a new window within 2 weeks at no charge. It is my belief now that ***********, who was always very supportive on our phone calls, was not being truthful. He could have ordered the window in July but didn't; he could have told me that the manufacturer would have assisted me directly...and, for cost to myself, he didn't; he did not need to string me along for 2 months, but, but he did. He did suggest, in an early conversation, that I could have a local glass company repair it for me; I did have a glass company give me a bid, which was $487. A final note: this item is the bottom sash a tilt-in window, which is something I can easily install. The company ARWS LLC has wasted much of my time, and treated me dishonestly.

Hi ******, once again, I do not buy directly from MI windows, I buy through a third party distributor. What sense would it make for me to intentionally drag you along on a process that would leave me in bad standing with you? I have zero time to waste in being a nuisance to any client of mine. You are leaving me a one star review based on a non committal, non warranty item that I tried to ASSIST YOU with. This issue has nothing to do with my company or our contract agreement, for that matter I could have just told you to go skip a rock, but I didn't. I am bound by my agreement with my distributor whom in the end, I found out, forgot to order the lower sash. I will take your review since I feel it it short sighted and at this point would expect that from you. I am not perfect and can sometimes make a mistake or forget to do something. But you are are putting a lot of blame on me for something that has very little to do in my control. Meanwhile, enjoy your windows that we installed. In which no issues were ever mentioned through the entire process until I tried to do you a favor. And again, so I am clear, the $167 is what my distributor was charging me for the sash which I was passing on to you with no mark up. I, myself, planned on coming out to switch it out at no additional charge to you because that's how I treat my customers. If I would have known that MI would have dealt with you directly, by all means, I would have sent you directly to them. Now I know. Have a nice day.
