Disappointing!Went to the ***** in *********, ** owned and operated by the Hall family (who used to have a decent reputation), for date night after dinner. Got drinks and when handing in tickets I was asked by the greeter if I would "mind" my bag searched. I had a small bag/purse with some very personal items in it that I did not want seen/touched by anyone, so I said " Yes, I would mind that very much". The greeter said I "HAVE" to allow the search. I questioned why and what they are searching for as well as why a big group of teens ahead of us were not searched and couple behind us. The response was "I have to" as he looked at the guy to his right. I asked for the manager in hopes of finding a resolution and the guy on the right proudly raised his nose to the ceiling and looking down his nose and smirking at me, said "I'm the manager". I told him that if he didn't have a reason to search me (maybe he was harassing me out of the crowd because we didn't purchase food and I was going to show him our receipt from dinner, explain why we didn't buy food I could not imagine why else we're singled out), we'd leave after a refund was issued. He agreed, but while waiting for the cashier to complete this, I heard him making deragotary remarks about me and giggling like a little girl!! I called out to him to let him know this was not tolerable and he ran over and yelled pointing at me "No Refund For You" Once again underlining that this treatment is exclusive only for me! He then continued to try to "scare" me by yelling that he's calling the police. We waited, the ** repeatedly asked him to issue a refund and de-escalate the ridiculous situation he created, but he refused. I then found out he was related to the owners, we reached out to the owners with contact info the ** gave us, but no one responded. All I see here now is unbridled, unskilled nepotism running the Rio10. Sad. This really shows the Rio10 forgot their local patrons and their own customer service skills.
