Toucan replaced my roof in June 2017. Extended time and destruction to all landscaping around my house as well as the pool and equipment. Nails and debris covered the neighborhood for which they felt no obligation to clean up. Was planning to replace gutters but they charged for it and never addressed. Also multiple attic vents covered requiring a replacement thru the new roof once everything else was addressed (bathroom fan vents, and similar lying on floor of attic). With winter snow and ice, ceiling on first floor began to drip water in two places requiring redo of the area for faulty placement of flashing, deck and sealant. Eventually fixed by another company when Toucan said there was nothing wrong with the roof. This area had never leaked before roof was replaced though old roof was worn and needed replacement. Once leaks were fixed ($10k later) we noticed tar dripping off the edge of the house and thru the wood seams in the ceiling inside the house. This has continued for 5 years though we were told it would stop once the roof set. All neighbors with similar sized homes and similar roofs have undergone replacement without any of the problems we had with the crew, debris or extended time and inability to get in and out of the house. The owner left town, leaving his wife in charge to answer the phone, whose response to our pleas to move the dump truck blocking our garage and straddling the gates was that they would do nothing til after the weekend and we were lucky to have them. There is much more in terms of contract breeches and property destruction, but let it suffice to say avoid this company. I see no way to rate below 1star, like -10 stars or below. Have complained to BBB but they are not rated.
