Very disappointed. This was my second roofing addition by AGR. It is a very nice structure, unfortunately it was not built to the contracted design due to some miscommunication with their foreman. The cover was supposed to provide a 1-foot overhang on all sides of the deck, but I was shortchanged on the front and back sides. They offered to place a gutter system on the back side to mitigate rainfall dripping on the deck's surface, which is not what I wanted, and does not solve the shortage on the front of the deck. It is not what we discussed, it is not what we agreed to, and it is not what I paid for. The crew's clean up protocols are also less than desirable. I continue to find roofing screws, bottle caps, scrap metal, and saw blades scattered about the work site. AGR made a mistake, and all their efforts to date to correct it have fallen short of my expectations. 6 Month Update AGR continues to drag their feet on resolving this dispute. Their communication has been reactive and comprised largely of excuses and finger pointing. Solutions were promised and when pressed for delivery met with more excuses and finger pointing. The original structure had only two requested design elements, posts were to be set at all four corners and spaced equidistant, with the cover to provide a 1-foot overhang on all sides of the 16x24 deck. After explaining my requisites, The owner had to edit his field notes to reflect the final agreed upon length of 25’. The field notes were not correctly transcribed, a mistake of an amateur. The attached image files better demonstrate the shortcomings of the final product. I reiterate that this is a nice structure, and it will most likely last for a great many years. This was a simple problem to resolve, and I am very disappointed that Mark refused to make this right. I may cautiously recommend to others, but I will not use AGR for any of my future projects.

We regret the disappointment from this customer, we strive to work with our homeowners, the best as we possibly can, and what we have learned over the years. This customer measured his on cover. I was there to assist him and the measurements for the cover that he wanted over the deck that he was building. After the cover was built, he realized that there was a mistake made on his part by not giving enough overhang for it to cover to overhang the wooden deck that he is building himself. We try to assist him to get the cover longer which wouldve taking all of the roof off and re-ordering a new whole roof for the cover. We explain to him. All we need to do is put a rain gutter on the cover to keep the rain from hitting his wooden deck that he built . We was going out of our way to try to assist him by buying the rain gutters with no expense to him, but it just was not good enough for him. Here again, we strive to do the best we possibly can but we believe that this customer was just a little bit out of bounds, and he was just getting to , hard to deal with and would never return our calls or have anything else to do with our company. We are still willing at any given time if he would like to try to work out a solution, but he will not return our call.
