This company, specifically the owner *********************** is extremely difficult to work with. He does not return calls and/or text messages when it comes to covering warranty work. I had an issue with a board on the arbor they built splitting. I tried several times to contact him about this and finally got ahold of him on the seventh attempt. He asked me to submit pictures of the issue which I did that evening. I did not hear back from him so I followed up with him a few days later and his response was "who is this". I reminded him and he told me he would have one of his installers come and replace the board. This was taken care of eventually. They would not stain the new board at the time of replacement but would take care of it after installation. Over a month passed and I attempted to contact him again. After several text exchanges he told me the company who handles the staining had left me several messages. He must have been calling the wrong number since I didn't receive any messages. *** basically called me a liar and refused to provide me with the name or the number of the individual who would take care of the staining. He told me to look it up myself.I was impressed with the initial presentation and the work *** and his crew do. The split board was not the fault of River City Deck and Patio or myself. But to have this much trouble when it comes to them honoring the warranty is completely uncalled for. To save yourselves any hassle if a warranty issue arises, I would highly recommend steering clear of this company.

#1. We did NOT have any warranty issues at the ******* residence. Our warranty does not cover cosmetic issues. #2. We as a courtesy agreed to replace said board at our convenience when we had someone in the area. #3. We are NOT in the stain business, ****************** had hired a stain company (The Dexperts ) which we had recommended. #4. Again as a courtesy we notified the stain company of the repair. #5. The stain company informed us that they had multiple unreturned messages from the ********. It turns out ****************** had only provided the stain company with her phone number when she signed her contract. Why she did not inform her husband is none of my business.#6.I did tell ***************** to look up the stain companies number as I was driving and do not pick up my cell phone when I'm behind the wheel. This was after he called myself and the owner of the stain company liars. I certainly don't believe it is our responsibility to manage the internal communication in the ******* household. I believe we offered the ******* family outstanding customer service as we had no responsibility to do so .
