      They did not tell us that the client list we thought we were mailing to for 4 years was actually about half due to other agents having our clients on their list. When we tried to cancel the service they just ignored all calls, emails, attempts. Send emails that we must talk to a Ultimately we had to go to our bank to block them. I have been a Realtor for 25 years. At this point this company is scamming people. I see similar experiences below. Bad stuff. Avoid Outbound Engine. Expensive. Never worked. Cannot cancel.

      We used Outbound Engine for 3 years and up until the last month (September 2023) everything was great. We really just used them for email newsletters that went out twice a month and they always had good content and were presented in an attractive and well-branded way. Unfortunately, they seem to have partnered, or been bought out by Elm Street Technology, and our first experience with this was when we got a random invoice from Elm Street which we thought was a mistake or a fraudulent charge, but after looking into it, it was for our Outbound Engine account, however, the charge was significantly more than we had paid every month for the service for the past 3 years so we tried inquiring about it and no one from Elm Street responded and we emailed Outbound Engine who was always great with customer service, but they didn't respond either so after a few days of working on getting an answer, we called and were told the only way to cancel was over the phone so they said someone would call us. We then got a call from a number we didn't know so we didn't answer. No voicemail was left so we called the number back and got some automated message that it was Elm Street but they didn't have anyone to help us so we had to leave a message. We then emailed again saying we had tried calling back and they replied and said our account had been cancelled and disabled which we were happy about, but we had just paid for a month of service at a much higher price so we asked if that would be refunded. Again, no one responded to us, so we called and they said they "couldn't" refund the money, but after asking further questions, they just didn't want to refund it even though it had been only a few days since the charge and it had taken that much time to get them to respond to us. It seems like this switch to Elm Street has changed a lot about Outbound Engine (and not for the better) so we will be avoiding them going forward due to these practices and their (now) poor customer service.

      I was a customer for a couple years. The content they provide is useful but pretty generic and doesn't help with SEO. Trying to cancel your account is near impossible. I've put a block on my credit card yet they still managed to charge me somehow. I've called in numerus times to cancel and get excuses that they are on lunch and I will get a call back which never happens. I have emailed them which they respond that you have to call to cancel.

      This company is barely a step above a scam. I am furious that there is next to no interaction, the analytics support that they are not doing anything that they promised, they charge you for literally nothing. I have tried for a week to get an "appointment" with someone so I can cancel this ridiculous contract. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY

      The bottom line for me - this company provides low-end content at best and most importantly they just don't care! They don't care about your messaging going out to your SOI (which is what you are paying for). They don't care about the accuracy of your personal details and/or the message they are sending. I changed companies in the midst of my subscription and sent them updated assets several times before they made the changes. They don't care enough to take your call and correct matters. They get you into a 1 year contract and will NOT let you out! (of course!!)One month prior to the end of my one year subscription, I started emailing them weekly that I do not wish to continue with their poor service - No response and when I called - they said I had to speak with **** before they "off-board" my membership and only after my 12 month subscription expires! I am furious that this company ***** you dry and has no honor at all on their side to try and make their business model work for their customers - nothing! I paid my entire 12 month subscription because I signed on to do so. Happy or Not!my contract seems to still be running and they continue to take money from my account!I have been transferred to "****" 6 times over the past month without a return call or a successful connection. I asked the person that answers the phone about my account status and she has confirmed that my account is still active.I am disgusted! These guys are low life scammers! There is NOTHING CREDIBLE with this company!In addition people should know that this effort has generated ZERO RESULTS!

      This company used 2 of their associates to tag team me into the subscription. Before the subscription was over in September, I told them in July 2022 that I wasn't interested in continuing. They ignored my wishes to discontinue. I was told that I needed to speak with someone specific to end the subscription, but I could never get that person on the phone. Against my wishes and beyond my 1 year subscription, they continued to siphon my money out of my account. They are a total rip off company. Not worth the irritation and aggravation.

      This company is the worse. I have been experiencing a financial burden an asked to cancel several times. Instead they maxed out my card and said we will continue to collect payments and we will not cancel your subscription until we are paid in full. This company will bully their way to payments until the contract has expired. They dont care if you can continue with payments or not.

      Do not do this service. I was tag teamed by 2 people in the initial conversation. I had told them no. But they kept calling. They told me that I could reach many Realtors with this product. Turns out all the Realtors I sent them were already taken in their system. They talked me into a ****** a month program and the next day I called and said I could not afford it. They agreed with me and put me on a ****** program to try it. Since then it's been 6 months and I have not received any business from it. I just got a call from someone who said they would drop it 50% from the ****** a month that I never used? Sadly I cannot afford this. And they are saying I am stuck?*********************

      These people are cons. The contracted service was NEVER delivered. My contract was supposed to be canceled but theyre still drafting my bank account. *** called in November and I was assured I would not be charged anything further. I was refunded $210 of the $234 they stole. Now in DECEMBER, they have stolen another $129 from my bank account. *** called again, to learn that the person who created this mess is no longer with the company. I was told my assertions would be reviewed after the calls were reviewed. At this point this appears to be standard practice for them.

      This company will take your money regardless, they are ruthless and scam people on a regular basis. I was supposed to be charged $449,000 per month and they charged my account $483.84 each month. I also sent an email to them in August 2022 canceling my contract because that was the end of my 1 year with them. Was told that you have to call to cancel which I did and stated that I wanted an email confirmation of the cancelation, never came. Called again and was told no one was available to speak with me and that someone would call me back, still waiting. I had to put a freeze on my credit card to stop the charges and will close the account if I have to. This company needs to have a class action suit filed against them. They have taken so much money from us, it's ridiculous. Do your research first and read the fine print, they do not tell you upfront all the details of your contract. Also, their weekly/monthly post get ZERO RESULTS. SCAMMERS FOR SURE!
