Howdy Honda sold a truck to me that in 4 months it broke down as far as of right now they are not helping to get it fix . They are also really rude to the customers. They take hours to assist you. And Im still paying the truck because they dont want to help me do a trade in.

Customer *************************** purchased the 2017 GMC ****** on November 4th,2023. ******* the purchase process our customer was informed that the vehicle was sold to her in AS-IS condition which was acknowledged by the customers signature on the form. We encouraged the customer to take advantage of the opportunity to purchase the **************** Agreement which they declined.

The customer came into the dealership on 3/2/2024 (4 months after the purchase) with a service concern. The check engine light was on and the vehicle was running rough. We plugged the diagnostic scanner into the *** at no charge to the customer and found cylinder 6 has a misfire code (p0306). I informed the customer of the findings but also noticed that the plastic piece that covered the motor had was removed and was in the bed of the truck as well as bottle caps were in the engine compartment. Because of this we asked if someone had been working on this vehicle prior to bringing it in to our dealership. The customer stated that she had taken the truck to another shop who after working on the vehicle they informed her that the truck needed to go to the dealer for engine concerns.

Once we told the customer that any repairs would be their responsibility based on the as-is agreement, declining of the *** and having another shops attempt to repair the vehicle. The customer asked if there was anything else that we could do to help, at that point we offered to trade the customer out of their purchase into a different vehicle on our lot. We have the financing approved for the new vehicle and are just waiting on the customer to provide the documents required by the bank.

I bought a car from Howdy Honda and I only had it for 2 months. I was on my way to work and my car just suddenly stopped working the gas pedal wasnt doing anything and I pulled over to restart my car and it stopped we thought it was the battery bought a new one and nothing! The hero people showed up and looked at my car and told me I had no oil! How do I get a car and it stops working because of no oil in 2 months! I went around mechanic to mechanic and they told me it my engine stalled up and everyone told me my car was up for a recall and I went to ******* dealership and the guy told me well the people you talked dont know anything and dont know what they are talking about. He told he gave me a rough guess depending on what it was and if it was the just the engine it would cost like 10k and thats outrageous for a car yall sold me with no oil. Ive been left with no vehicle for a month n a half and still making payments!

Bought an auto warranty at the time I purchased my third vehicle from Howdy Honda. Was told by the sales rep "it was for the life of the car". Found out today by accident, its for 8 years or ******* miles whichever comes first. Took the car in, thinking the laundry list of items they have been presenting over the last year were"diagnosed" by the main floor. Come to find out, they were not, they were suggestions from the expedite service peeps. The service department charges $194.00 per item to be diagnosed, then they somehow forget you have a warranty and have to bring to their attention. I am sooo tired of having to remind the service people, that should be automatic, it was purchased from one of their sales people. And, with today's technology that info should be in the system. The $194.00 is over and above the warranty, mind you I have 5 items being "looked" at today. I feel I was ripped off, just think how much double dipping goes on, IF car purchasers forget they purchased a warranty. Quite possible, I could pay over $1,000 for some mechanic to say, "all that's not an issue to wait out the warranty". Howdy Honda is NOT what it used to be. You guys are severely lacking in honesty and integrity. I purchased my last 3 cars from Howdy Honda and all were serviced by them. This may push me over the edge and never go back.

Howdy Honda missed the mark **** by a mile! I was searching online for a car for my daughter in a specific price range and I found a 2014 ******* Elantra Sport that "checked the boxes" . I called the dealership and spoke to **** (****after salesman) who was polite and professional. The car was available. I then asked what time they opened on Saturdays, he replied 9:00am. I then said, in no uncertain terms, that I would be t**** promptly . The following morning, while en route, I got a call from a sales manager, who identified himself as ****** (****after manager) who wanted to confirm I was still coming. I arrived at the used car sales area at 8:55am. I immediately saw a salesman who was showing a vehicle in the parking lot close the building. I looked around the building and a few people were in the waiting lounge, but no other sales personnel. The salesman finally showed up at 9:15 am. He explained that was that he was in a weekly sales meeting, a meeting which neither he nor the manager mentioned. The salesman then retrieved the vehicle. Although the salesman asserted that the car had been through service, by looking at the engine bay it was apparent it had not been within a mile of any service department. The motor oil was filthy (dark brown) but full. I looked at the air filter which contained trees leaves and pine needles; the salesman then summoned the manager. I mentioned to the manager how I was left waiting for 20 minutes, despite having notified them I was coming and he offered no explanation. Regarding the vehicle's condition, the manager explained that it was a "triple "s" car, meaning they only check if it starts, stops and steers. When we test drove the car, the engine sounded anything but healthy. It made knocking sounds similar to an engine that was low on oil. On the test drive the engine grew louder and louder. When we were yards from turning into the dealership, the engine died. In closing, if I could leave less than a 1 star review, I would.

The absolute most crooked group of used car salesmen. Still want my 40$ I had to put in their loaner while they put duct tape on a back bumper to fix it. Then changed the price up 2k and lowered the price on my trade in after signing a deal. Wasted my entire weekend and ended up keeping my car and am out 40 because they said they have no way of refunding 40$. Worst experience buying a vehicle ever. I will never be back.

What an horrible experience! They overcharge my deposit by $2500 and the sales manager states "it was a lack of communication on our part but it will take 5 to 7 business days to be refunded" Now how fair is that to me. ??Then the financial manager come in and then blames me for the mistake. Like WHAT! ??

************************ came in to purchase a used Insight on Saturday 5/27. She stated that she was going to put $3000.00 towards a downpayment and finance with her credit union. She left to retrieve her credit card which we charged the $3000.00 to her credit card. Once she received the receipt, she felt that she was to give a $500.00 deposit and would pay the $2500.00 balance the following Monday. We apologized for the miscommunication, at that time she appeared to be upset nor asked for a refund. When she came back in on Monday, she had decided not to purchase the vehicle and we promptly refunded her the $3000.00 to her credit card and explained that it might take 5-7 days before its credit shows with her bank. We do sincerely apologize for any miscommunication and confusion that we created.

I was looking for a specific vehicle make and model. Called the dealership and was told over the phone that they had inventory available (new and used) in the make and model I requested and that I could come by and start the process of purchase. The man on the phone knew of my situation and that I was needing to get into a vehicle immediately. I set aside time out of my day to visit the dealership, was paired with a completely different sales guy than the one who had said would assist me and it was just downhill from there. I was told by this man that there were no vehicles available, that I could only preorder or reserve the vehicle that I wanted, etc. I began to express my frustration since they obviously used a scammy method just to get my foot in the door and try to make a sale. The senior sales team member that was working with me argued with me for several minutes trying to convince me that I didnt need the features of the vehicle I was wanting and questioning me. I suppose since Im a woman I looks like I can be persuaded, but this isnt my first rodeo and Ive purchased many cars before. I became very frustrated with the attempted poor persistent negotiation on this mans behalf that I literally got up and stormed out of howdy Honda. I will never return, nor recommend to family and friends. These sales tactics are degrading and time wasting, much less insulting. Needless to say I found the exact model I wanted with my own research and it was a breeze without the stress. Kind of just hoping these dealerships die out eventually. Never again.

************,I certainly understand your frustration with the repair of your vehicle. But due to your unfavorable review I must point out to you again, that your vehicle was in an accident that cause over 20K worth of damage. The repairs that are required were both mechanical and body work. As I have mentioned to you before we do not have a body shop, so we have no control of the body work. The insurance company has delayed the mechanical and body repairs due to their lack urgency to approve the repairs. In addition to that the global parts and transportation shortages have created additional delays. Parts across the world have been placed on back order with no release date from the manufacturer. The extensive repairs needed and the late model year (2022) of your vehicle has compounded the fact that your insurance company has been dragging their feet. Our records indicate that we have contacted you multiple times thru phone, e-mail, and text messaging. The last time that we spoke one of your complaints was that you were frustrated because we were constantly contacting you requesting that you bring back our loaner vehicle every 30 days as required in your signed loaner agreement. A loaner vehicle that we provided to you as a courtesy for 5 months due to your unfortunate circumstances. We are receiving no reimbursement from your insurance company and are not asking you to pay for the loaner vehicle which has an expense to the dealership of over $800 per month.Yes, you have the right to be frustrated with the person who hit your car, the insurance company, the world parts shortages and even the transportation clogs worldwide. But not with us.

WORST EXPERIENCE I have ever had with a dealership!! I went to Howdy because a friend of mine knows one of the managers and that manager told him he would give me a good deal. Well we went in and ended up being there for 7 hours! ?? I ended up finding a car I absolutely loved (only the 3rd car I looked at) and we decided to move forward. The car had some paint damage, dents, and the front bumper needed clips replaced that Howdy told me they would have fixed as thats the only way Id buy the car. I went to go pick my car up a week later, when I arrived I was in complete disbelief of what they had done to my car. They didnt even attempt to remove the dents, instead of getting new clips they tried to glue the bumper in and it popped out and they said thats all they could do for the bumper, and the scratches in the car, it looks like they took a sharpie or nail polish to the car. I was soooo mad and upset. When I asked what did they do to my car, my sales guy who I didnt like already because of his attitude told me thats how its supposed to look. I looked at him and told him your going to sit here and tell me that you call this a professional job done when it looks like a **** 3 year old colored in the scratches on my car!!!??????? he said yeah thats how a touch up goes. They then proceeded to tell me after making a fuss about the car that they would take $250 off the total of the car so I could take it elsewhere to get fixed. I got my money back and walked out! This is completely unacceptable and I WILL NEVER USE HOWDY HONDA AGAIN!!! And if you want a good car that looks good DONT GO HERE!!! The 1 good thing I can say is the sales Manager ******************* is THE ONLY one that works there that truly cares about customers. He did everything he could to help me out and to try and get it fixed but once he looked at the car he said they messed it up so bad there is no fixing without doing a full repaint.

BUYER BEWARE - Always true at a car dealer but this store is more dangerous than most for the uninitiated. I am extremely disappointed with Lithia and Howdy Honda so take your business anywhere else. Why you might ask?I went in to trade an S2000 I purchased last summer for a ***************************************************** $6,000 less than I paid for the car six months ago. ****** learned - ALWAYS sell your trade before you come in to buy. A dealer has many ways to take your money when you trade a car for a car. I assumed they would take care of me since I just bought the car six months ago, but that is another story and I was sorely mistaken.I made it ******* clear to my salesperson *************************** that I would not pay for the LoJack or the "finish protection" which sell for $499 EACH. These are part of the *** which is all the high profit stuff they will add to every car deal unless you say no. Since these products cost the dealer next to nothing, they will almost always take them out of the deal as a discount to the selling price if you say no. You did not ask for these items, they put them on the car as speculation. Tell them to take off the money or take off the add-on's.This dealer charges you $5 for printing your temporary license plate. That business practice says volumes about their integrity. My mistake was to trust that the *** items had been discounted from the selling price which I have discovered recently were never discounted off the deal. DO NOT trust that what you and the SALESMAN agreed to has made it past the desk manager and and is on the deal they send to the finance team. This is my fault for trusting them and not double checking the numbers. Now it's my word against the salesman about what was said in the box. Don't let this happen to you.ALWAYS demand to have a copy of the "pencil" which is the worksheet they have you sign before going to the desk manager. "If we can get to this number will you buy the car today" is the pencil. This pencil should have the foundational details of the deal on it. They will not let you have this unless you ask. The dealer is required to give you the Manroney window sticker PLUS the *** add on details sticker. You must pay for what is on the Manroney, paying for the *** stuff is just a test to see how gullible the customer is.I asked them to check with ***** Fargo to see if they had a better interest rate than my credit union. ***** Fargo now has a secrecy pact with the auto dealers and will not reveal the current interest rates to a customer. The operative word was check - not use WF regardless of the rate. The deal was written with an interest rate north of 5% despite my credit score being in the 800 range. I eventually had them re-write the sale with my credit union at **** %. If I had not caught this, I would have paid hundreds more in interest on the unwarranted high interest rate. Guess who would have gotten that "financial reserve" refund - Howdy Honda. It was a "misunderstanding" according to the finance guy.....Save yourself from this kind of trickery and arrange your financing BEFORE you go to the dealer. Save yourself thousands by saying NO to everything the finance person tries to sell you. Extended Warranty, GAP insurance, Key Replacement Package, VIN Etching etc. The dealer makes more than 50% of their money from the *** and the finance desk selling overpriced add on items. Just Say NO, you can purchase any of these products for much less directly without the dealers high ****-up.Consider hiring a car sales advisor to work the deal with you. This person will save you much more than their fee.My final take is that Howdy Honda is a place I will never trade with again. It is an expensive ****** to remind me that generally car dealers have about the same level of integrity as a **** shop. Do yourself a favor and double check all the numbers, demand all the paperwork and take your business almost anywhere else. This was an expensive ****** learned but social networking can help other avoid my fate.****

**************,I was disappointed to see that you were unhappy with your recent purchase. I have reached out to you and left you several messages so that we can get together and review you transaction. You and I have visited before regarding your first transaction where I learned that you had a tremendous amount of experience in purchasing vehicles. With your knowledge and experience in the business I am sure that you understand during negotiations the dealerships offer and the customers offer are often rejected by the other party. That is one reason that we document everything and retain the paperwork in order to clear up any verbal misunderstandings. In reviewing you file, I noticed 4 or 5 documents that clearly show the products and prices displayed including the original offer sheet. All these documents have your signature on them, and I will be happy to share those with you. I feel that if you had requested these documents and we failed to provide you with them I owe you an apology. I have left you several messages so that we may discuss your concerns and would like to bring some resolution to your concerns if possible. I have left you my work number and I am sure that you still have my cell phone number. I will be returning to the office this Thursday and will be happy to arrange a meeting if you would like. ************************* General Manager
