Complaint: my home was just built last year and islas was the ac contractor that installed the unit. The 3rd day i moved in the central air was not cooling ive had him come more than 5 times out here and still cannot fix the problem. He told me i needed a bigger condenser outside and the warranty did not cover it so i had to pay him 500$ for a new one. he installed it and that didnt fix the problem i have been calling him to take a look at this problem to get fix up to this date 9/ 2/13 and i have had no answer from him. this ac is still covered under warranty and he does not want to honer it. Ac unit is only 1 year old and not cooling ,the air handler had some exposed wires burned in it that were not properly covered right and is a fire hazard to me and my family

Complaint: Islas A/C installed Carrier Unit in our home. He installed an R22 unit outside and a 410 A coil unit inside consequently causing the system to malfunction and burn the compressor. Emails and calls were ignored. I had to pay anonther AC company to get the compressor replaced. Three different A/C techs have informed me that the serial numbers from the inside unit have been removed, therefore, placement parts for warranty work cannot be obtained. The removal of the serial number from a brand new unit leads me to believe that this unit may be stolen. Here it is almost three years later, and many attempts to resolve this with **** ****** owner, have been unsucessful.

Desired Settlement: Inside unit replaced with the correct unit with a serial number and system to be in good working order.
