Complaint: Have an A/C unit that is still under warranty in terms of parts. Repair person stated that A/C manufacturer charges to have warranty parts returned and that it would have been cheaper to pay for the part. We did so and then found out the next day that A/C manufacturer does not do that. Called the AC repair company and asked about this and he stated that we would still have to pay more as the part includes labor. The invoice was not broken out like that, the invoice stars $65 for labor and then the $40 for the part. AC company stated that is because he does flat rate pricing. It is my belief the company does not want to do the work of filing paperwork for warrenty part and it is easier to charge customer.

Desired Settlement: Would like for company to refund the part that was under warranty

After contacting Mr. ******* we talked about the warranty parts and I told him I would be happy to refund the price of not only the parts but the entire service call. Mr ******* said I didn't have to do that but I insisted. He told me he was satisfied with my actions and the matter was cleared up to his satisfaction.
