      All Year Heating & Cooling in ******, ***** is under new management. For 20+ years we have been customers. Early June 2022 our 12 year old ** failed, we got a new system installed on June 8 by All Year for $12,000. In July we noticed water coming up through the hallway floor outside the ** closet. We called All Years advertised 24/7 support line, got the answering service, and left emergency messages on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday with no response. Monday July 25, we finally heard from the All *********** and they sent a technician who discovered that during installation of the new ** system, a tag had been dropped into the pipe that carries away condensation, causing water to back up and silently leak under our flooring along the slab foundation. He was able to flush the pipe and remediate the blockage. He called over a water mitigation inspector who marked the areas where the water had seeped. The All Year tech explained it was All Years error and said All Year would cover whatever damage our insurance did not.I opened a claim with our homeowner insurance and they sent a water mitigation company who promptly set up dehumidifiers in our hall. And they called an environmental inspector to assess for mold. The report found there was now a high mold count in the house, requiring (state law) mold mitigation protocol be followed.Due to measured high levels of spore counts, we were advised to vacate the house until the mold remediation was completed and the floor replaced. I kept the new All Year owner and GM apprised of the work. Our homeowner's policy covers most of the expenses, but the policy DOES NOT COVER MOLD REMEDIATION. The mold contractor performed mold services to arrest further mold growth. They sent the $10,000 mold services invoice and all supporting documentation directly to All Year, but All Year IS NOT RESPONDING.. The reconstruction of our house (sheetrock, paint, flooring) is stalled until the mold remediation invoice is paid.

      0 stars if that was an option. After 3 tries, failed to find a simple freon leak in the system, which ultimately was resolved by another company in ********************* up at least 3 appointment times, wouldn't return calls or emails. Couldn't get an appointment reset after they no-showed. Unit not cooling below 80 and it's 100+ outside. Answering service takes most of the calls, which are not returned. Terrible service.Apparently the new ******-based owner bought the company to run it into the ground. It's not the former owner who kept customers happy for many years.There are plenty of great AC companies in ******; try someone else.
