We have lived in our rental house for almost 2 years always paid on time. Weve had to replace 4 GFI plug ins and the kitchen lighting on our own. We were told we would get reimbursed but never did. The sinks in the master bathroom have late since weve moved in, both toilets upstairs have leaked since April, the fence on one side of our yard is literally being held up by our trash cans since April and nothing has been fixed. After calls weekly or more and emails this continues to be an issue. We are moving out early as they continue to now fix anything wrong with the property. They sent someone over the summer to re-trim the whole house and put new decorative posts in the back though. The crew they sent broke over $200 worth of stuff, left nails, and beer cans covering the yard (we have small children and dogs). Apparently this is acceptable as nothing was ever done about it. Would not rent with this company again.

    NB Leasing & Resorts Response

****:Here at NB Leasing we take property repairs seriously and follow procedures for repairs as outlined in the lease. Beyond that, we also value good relations with our tenants, and part of that means having two-way honest discussions. Frankly, I find your review to be an embellishment of fact and in some cases flatly disingenuous. It is ironic that the timing of your all of a sudden bad review and criticism comes at the time you are planning to terminate your lease early and moving out of the state. Lets break this down and have an honest review of FACTS:It is correct that you have been a tenant for almost 2 years and paid rent on time. That is appreciated. However the record also shows that you had two written lease violations and three HOA violations. Lease violations include an unauthorized large dog on property in addition to the 2 large authorized dogs that you already had, plus an unauthorized above ground pool in the backyard. So, for the record, you have not been completely honest with abiding by the lease. It is correct that last summer the property owner sent his own work crew to do some necessary woodwork and wood replacement to the back of the house. It was difficult for them to perform their work, because they couldnt easily get access to the property because of your dogs (one of which was an unauthorized dog). You and I had a big discussion on this at that time, and you were not very cooperative in allowing the ******* on property, and not willing and able to restrain your dogs so the ******* could complete their work. The lease specifies that a tenant is expected to restrain or kennel their dogs in order to allow ******* to do their work. Regarding these workers causing damage and leaving beer cans on site, this is the first and only mention of that. That was a year ago and there is no record of you having said anything about that previously and of that being a problem. I find that comment difficult to believe, as those workers were from the property owners own work crew, and the property owner would not tolerate that from his own workers. Plus they had a difficult time doing their work with your unrestrained dogs. Regarding the *** plugs and kitchen lighting, there is no record of a work order or of you even reporting the issues previously. We have records of your reported repair issues and subsequent work orders. Some you have just recently reported and we are already in process of coordinating appropriate repairs. We understand that you were planning on moving out of state and will be terminating your lease early in the process. To say that you are moving out because of these things in your critique, does not add up with the facts and instead sounds very disingenuous and as an offensive tact to justify early termination. If there were issues that you felt we needed to follow-up on better, then we would have hoped for a more honest discussion, so that we could resolve any issues, as opposed to your making a case and airing this with the BBB.**** LeonhardtNew Leasing and Property Management
