Complaint: We had them come out and repair 2 valves. One started to leak that night - they came out nextt day!! Mean while - no water for shower/or bath or dinner. THen the OTHER valve was leaking. Water floaded the entire back yard - we have well water and that was about 50 gallons of well water lost! THey could not come out for THREE days to fix it. We had to have water - ASAP. So we had other plumber come out and repair BOTH valves because the work done originally by A Model Plumbing was one incorrectly. I've tried to contact A Model Plumbing for money back - They will not answer their phones
Desired Settlement: or refund - check. Even if it is a partial refund - I would think that is reasonable. thank you
Business Response: RESPONDING TO A CALL I REPLACED 2 VALVES. RATHER THAN CHARGE THE CUSTOMER TIME TO ALLOW THE GLUE TO SET UP THEY AGREED TO TURN IT ON AFTER THE ALLOTTED TIME I HAD TOLD THEM ADEQUATE.. A CONNECTIONS PAST THE REPAIR I HAD DONE HAD A DRIP I WAS INFORMED SO I RETURNED AND DID NOT CHARGE THE CUSTOMER ADDITIONAL WHEN I COULD HAVE ..INVOLVING REMOVING PROBLEMATIC FEMALE PVC FITTING AND BARBED INSERT TYPE WITH HOSE CLAMPS TO A BLACK ROLL TYPE TUBING.. THIS TIME I WAITED FOR THE GLUE TO DRY.WITH THE CUSTOMER PRESENT THE WATER WAS TURNED ON THERE WAS NO LEAKS ..THE ASSEMBLY WAS BEDDED IN WITH SAND AND A WATER TIGHT REPAIR WAS ACKNOWLEDGED BY US BOTH. HOWEVER THERE WAS A BRAND NEW VALVE BOX PRESENT WHICH THEY CHOSE TO PLACE UPON THE VALVES THEMSELVES.. ...THEY APPARENTLY DIDN'T CUT OUT THE BOX AROUND THE PIPING ADEQUATELY AND WHEN SOME ONE STOOD ON IT THE PIPES WERE BROKEN .. DOESN'T THAT MAKE MORE SINCE THAN A FAULTY REPAIR CAUSING BOTH VALVES TO SIMULTANEOUSLY BURST DAYS LATER ... PLEASE CALL ME CONCERNING THIS COMPLAINT AGAINST MY ESTABLISHMENT ..
