I have used All Service Pest Control for the last several years. I have spent thousands of dollars just in the past 3 years with them, having had two houses that had to be treated for termites along with all of my routine pest control. 2 1/2 years ago I had them address an issue of potential birds and/or rodents entering the attic of a home I own. David charged me $275 to replace the mesh on the three attic louvered vents. I am now selling the home and the inspector discovered that the mesh was insufficiently large enough to be wrapped around the edges so birds or other critters could not enter, one three inches too narrow to even cover the space resulting in a large bird nest in the attic and more. I told David via text I was very upset because I expected better of him and and for him to replace the improperly installed mesh immediately at no charge. Admittedly, I should have been more diplomatic, but his sloppy work was jeopardizing the sale! The response I received from him was this: "Hey ****, got your msgs. First of all, thanks for the vote of confidence. So it seems some home inspector said my work was done incorrectly. Well, i guess ive been doing it wrong for 20 years. First inspector to say that, but whatever. The work was done 2.5 years ago. As far as your demand to do over immediately for free, is really not an option. That kind of work has a 1 year warranty. Since you expect better of me, maybe you should call someone else. I wouldnt want my incompetence and a bird nest to some how impede your sale. Have a nice weekend!" The mesh was not damaged; it was cut too small and improperly installed as per the professional who indeed did come out to replace it. He said that whoever installed it should give me a full refund regardless of how long it had been! David should have sucked it up and offered to make it right. Too late now though. Many pest control companies that will do a good job and stand behind their work so why use this one!?
