Complaint: I hired this company to clean my house on Friday, April 4th. The cleaning crew that came to my house shattered one of my window panes. I can confirm that they were the party responsible for this damage. For what it's worth, the cleaning services were also pathetic and did not live up to promised expectations, but I'm primarily concerned with the vandalism that occurred at my house. I spoke with a customer service representative regarding this matter. She claimed that she spoke with the crew and that no one on the crew was responsible for the damage. She then said that she would not be doing anything more about this. I am 100% confident that they were responsible for the damage as the window in question was observed to be in perfect condition minutes before their arrival, and I got home just minutes after they left. Additionally, I have security cameras that monitor the front door as well.

Desired Settlement: I want the cost for the service removed completely and I also want them to repair the broken window.

Hello and thank you for trusting The Maids to clean your home.  We work very hard to ensure that everything goes smoothly when cleaning your home, but when we make a mistake, we make it right, as you can see from our BBB accreditation and our other customer service awards.  We understand your frustration in this experience, a broken window is certainly cause for concern. In this case, there was no evidence of The Maids involvement in the broken window, therefore we urged you to contact the police to have a formal investigation performed. As previously mentioned, we will cooperate fully, and look forward to a resolution in this matter, and that the responsible party be held accountable. Please keep us updated, so we may take whatever action steps are necessary following the investigation. "All of the housecleaning work performed by The Maids is backed by a 100% guaranteed satisfaction. If you are dissatisfied with any of the cleaning work that we have performed at your house, please contact us within 24 hours from the time your house was cleaned, and we will re-clean the portion that you are not happy with again for free."  We stand behind our guarantee and would like the opportunity to clean the unsatisfactory areas, as we previously offered.  The 43 customer survey reports this year on the cleaning crew that cleaned your home have been above excellent.  We would very much like the opportunity to see and correct the miscommunication from what was expected to what was received.  Thank you.
