Complaint: We rented two condo units from this company in Corpus Christi at ***** *** ***. The units were advertised as remodeled and sadly both units were in terrible shape. Mold was growing on the bathroom walls and the exterior of the refrigerators were rusted. The disgusting grime in the kitchen prevented us from cooking and the oven had some stuff smeared all on the inside. I couldn't leave food as the bugs were robust and I couldn't cook food as the units were just nasty. I tried to send a complaint but never heard back from the company.
Desired Settlement: I want it acknowledged of the misrepresentation of the units and an apology. I don't want others to have this same experience.
Below is a copy of our waiver and contract that is signed by every renter. The owner collected the money, which leaves us with no power to refund any amount. The guest did stay which the owner may not be willing to refund the amount. This case should be taken up directly with the owner if they would like a refund.

Each property rented is Individually Owned and Operated. Therefore, all rates are subject to change. Our Property Owners accept all major Credit Cards, with the exception of American Express, and require a valid Credit Card for the down payment, AND FINAL PAYMENT, which will automatically be run TWO DAYS prior to Guest’s arrival for nightly and weekly stays. ********** *** and its Property Owners reserve the right to run card on file within the 30 days prior to scheduled date of arrival (mainly for holiday rentals). Some property owners accept American Express and this will be included in the property FEATURES section. For month or longer stays, the NON-Refundable final payment is automatically run 30 days prior to Guest’s scheduled date of arrival. If Guest’s Credit Card on file does not go through for our Property Owners previous to Guest’s arrival, Property Owners have the right to rent out Guest’s reserved property, as Guest’s reservation becomes invalid. Please provide a good phone number for Property Owner to reach Guest in case of emergency or issues with Guest’s card. If Guest does not make arrangements, and Property Owners property is not rented out, Guest will still be responsible for Guest’s reservation. The Property Owner also reserves the right to send Guest to collections if any damages occur and no shows are not able to go through on the Credit Card Guest has on file. Any charges that are incurred during the collection of such charges will also be Guest’s responsibility. Property Owners require at least a 30 day notice for cancellations. If Guest cancels before 60
or more days prior to Guest’s scheduled date of arrival Guest will receive back 80% of Guest’s down payment. If Guest cancels within 30-59 days prior to Guest’s arrival date, Guest will receive back 60% of Guest’s down payment.
Otherwise the down payment AND total cost of Guest’s scheduled stay is forfeited. The $21 processing fee payable to TripAngle is NON-Refundable. Any fees incurred involving a chargeback will be the responsibility of the Guest. Any refunds requested during a scheduled stay will be at the owners discretion. For any cancellations email owner of property.
Guest understands that pets are allowed in “ONLY” pet friendly properties.
Violators will be asked to leave with no refund, and may be charged up to $500 cleaning fee. Our Property Owners allow up to two pets with the maximum weight for each stated in the property description under the FEATURES section. If Guest is staying in one of these units with a pet, then Guest has agreed to pay the advertised NON-Refundable pet fee for one or two pets. Guest’s pet must always be on a leash when outside or on the Beach. Pets must not bark excessively, if this happens, Guests may be asked to leave with no refund. If an unauthorized pet is found in any property, Guest may be asked to leave with no refund. Guests must pick up after their pets. Any Guest that doesn't follow any of these instructions will be asked to leave with no refund. Some complexes require PETS to have shot records. Important: Otherwise guest may not be able to check in. And may not be issued a refund.

Many of the properties advertised on our web sites have occupancy limits and restrictions. The limits are listed on each rental on our web sites. Please read carefully as Guest(s) are responsible for those
requirements. If Guest(s) violate the occupancy and/or restriction requirements, than the Guest(s) will be asked to leave without refund.

The Property Owners will email the itemized receipt and confirmation with your correct remaining balance. The rate calculator should be used as a guide only and the Property Owners will exert every effort to make sure you get the price quoted. You will be emailed within 24-hours an invoice with all fees. If you have any questions, you may call the number on your Confirmation, which will also be emailed to you within 24-hours.

This Property Owner is not responsible for loss of any valuables, as well as personal injury. The Guest (signer of this receipt) agrees to be responsible for any of the renters staying in this property and provide payment for room charges and for any damage of property that may occur during Guest’s stay. Monthly Guests must prepay each month and agree to do so upon signing this receipt.
CHECK OUT TIME: [CHECKOUT_TIME]. Guests staying past [LATE_CHECKOUT_TIME] on the day of departure will be charged a full nights stay and/or will be forced to leave if Owner have customers

Privately Owned Condos And Houses
Guest understands that the accommodations are privately Owned and Operated and are furnished by the Property Owner and come as advertised. Property Owners are not required or obligated to provide additional furnishings or equipment. If the major appliances including air conditioning or electric become inoperable, Property Owners will exert every effort to have them repaired, and will also make every effort to relocate the Guest if it becomes necessary.
Our Property Owners can not guarantee the time required to make repairs. Guest understands that each unit is furnished in relation to the property owner’s taste and will vary between properties. All properties are individually Owned and Operated, so please take care of the property as you would your own. Any missing items, broken items, smoking, unauthorized pets, excessive cleaning, soiled/stained towels, or trash removal will be billed by the Property Owner to Guest’s Credit Card. Unless prior arrangements are made, Property Owners offer no extra towels or maid service. Some complexes may have a minimal check-in fee. Neither the owner or ********** *** has anything to do with these charges. This fee contributes to helping maintain security, parking passes, and/or gate cards for, pools, and beach access.
Property Owners will charge Guest’s Credit Card for the following items: A nominal fee key fee will be assessed if the keys are not returned as they were given to the Guest (signer), as there are costs involved including changing the locks. Property Owners will not be responsible for any items left in the property. Please check your property before you depart. Any property left behind may be considered abandon property. A nominal fee may be charged if Guests leave excessive trash in property, or Property Owners property is left overly unkempt by Guest. Trash cans and dumpsters have been provided for Guests during stay. The Property Owner reserves the right to charge Guest's Credit Card for smoking in condo. If Guest’s card on file doesn't go through in the instance of collection for such damages, the Property Owner has the right to send Guest over to collections, also any charges incurred during the collection of such charges will also be Guest’s responsibility.
Limitation of Liability
Guest agrees to indemnify, save, protect, defend and hold harmless ********** ***, its agents or assignees, and the Property Owners of the property for any and all claims, actions, suits, demands, damages and costs related to defending same, including attorneys fees incurred as a result of any injuries to persons or damages to property as a result of the acts or omissions of Guest(s).
********** *** and its Property Owners have the express right to enter the rented properties at any time, with or without the Guest’s consent to perform routine maintenance. Property Owners will exert every effort to notify Guest before entering property.
Rates & Accommodation Substitutions
Each property is individually Owned and Operated. Due to resale and maintenance issues, all prices, services and amenities are subject to change without notice. Property Owners will expend every effort to move Guests, if necessary, to a comparable property.
The Guest will be liable for any damages, costs attorneys fees incurred as a result of any injury or damage from the use of amenities. The Guest agrees to assume sole responsibility in relation to these risks and Guest agrees Guest is responsible and liable and will pay Property Owner or Complex upon request for any damages to these amenities caused by Guest’s misuse or negligence of common areas or amenities.

I am rejecting this response because:
When using a middle man it serves the purpose of that group acting on the behalf of the parties. This company provided grossly inaccurate information regarding the unit and failed to even acknowledge my repeated request for assistance. We as customers are not in contact with the owners. That is why I used this service. I do not believe just stating I should try for a refund from the owner is adequate! I paid this company to do a service which they failed to do.
