Additional Notes

Complaint: Excessive repair issues at my expense that should have been addressed upon installation of a new air conditioning system. In the last 3 years I have paid in excess of $4500 in repair bills. Some of the repair issues were covered under the 10 year warranty on the unit itself , but now that the warranty is over, I am looking at a whole new system due to repeated failure. With the most recent repair, the technician from another company informed me that the air conditioning system "is cooling but operating out of designed parameters due to restriction faults". Basically the return vents are too small for the size of the unit. Other issues not addressed at the time of installation were lack of return ducts from multiple areas of the house, lack of sealing in return areas resulting in draw in from the attic and wall space. Also the new fan motor installed 09/2013 is already failing. It was the technicians opinion that the repair issues may not have occurred on a properly installed and sized system.

Desired Settlement: Would appreciate correct repair/replacement of system that I paid for if in fact the system is not up to standards of normal operation. If the issues I have been told are true and correct, I have been paying excessive utility bills due to the work load of the unit in addition to the repairs.

Business Response: All the customer's files since the initial installation in 2004 are being compiled for review.  Ms. ******** will be contacted by phone today to schedule a consultation with the information she has from other sources.  After this meeting we will be able to make a full response.

Consumer Response: Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
