I scheduled South Texas Fence to repair my chain link gate. It needed leveling, straps and post leveling. I scheduled them on Friday Oct 8, 2023...no one showed up. I called at the end of the day and rescheduled for Thurs Oct 12 between ****. They showed up at 12:15 and were done by 1:15. The gate was braced so the cement would set so we could not try it. We were told to wait until Monday to open the gate. When I opened the gate the straps would not allow it to close flush and even and because the straps were shortened the end (closing) swing did not fully reach the bumper on the othe side. I called STF and asked them to come look at it because I felt it would do damage to my opener and the gate couldn't open fully. He was very disrespectful and basically told me to adjust it myself. I didn't want to do something that might damage the gate and the opener so I persisted and finally he said he would try to find time in the next couple of weeks. After me reaching out again he came out today (Friday October 27, 2023) and again being rude and uncooperative told me there was no warranty and refuse to work with me on repairing or adjusting the gate. This fix requires longer (larger) straps to allow the gate to work properly without stressing and or damaging the gate opener. (Electric) I paid $670.00 for an hour of work, 3 straps and some cement. I feel that at least I could get a properly closing gate.
