Complaint: Dropped vehicle off for repairs on 5/6/15. Had trouble from beginning getting service dept to return calls. Shop stated fuel filter housing leaking & no fuel pressure. We told them wanted gaskets replaced in housing not new housing; even bought parts & sent to them. Nobody wanted to return calls or seemed to know what was going on. Finally they told us they rebuilt housing with spare parts, but vehicle still won't run & has no fuel pressure. Told them would be there the following week to pick up & take somewhere else. They also did recall work that was not authorized. Paid $549.91 before seeing or loading vehicle. I then realized they had not even put vehicle back together. A weeks notice that it would be picked up should be plenty of time for them to have it ready to go. After hauling to 500 to a shop close to where I live. They found the fuel filter housing Cantu put on was for an 07 duramax on an 04. It had fuel lines crimped off & would never work. Also Cantu failed to put fuel control actuator (FCA or fuel pressure regulator) back on vehicle along with numerous missing bolts. I made numerous calls to Cantu only to never have calls returned. I sent them bill from ***** *********** ****** **** stating original problem was battery on driver side which powers computer & sensors needed cleaning. I paid another 789.94 to replace parts that a so called Chevrolet service department lost, trashed, or broke. Still can NOT get manager or owner to return calls. If some one breaks down in Freer, TX I feel sorry for them if they go to Cantu Chevrolet!!!!!

Desired Settlement: They need to apologize for not handling properly. Refund money paid to them for taking vehicle apart & loosing parts or whatever they did with them. No excuse for a dealership using wrong parts & making matters worse. Also need to pay for proper repairs.

Business Response: We at Cantu Chevrolet made an attempt to reimburse Mr. *** **** for the full labor we charged on the invoice.  We even have a case with general motors customer assistance on this situation.  He declined our offer and our general motors representative told us there is nothing else we can do if he declined our offer to reimburse him for the full amount of our labor.

I am rejecting this response because: Your offering to refund your labor charges? That still leaves an additional $789.94, caused by Cantu Chevrolet for parts removed and not

returned! Those parts were on truck when brought there why did I have to purchase them because your staff removed & lost? Cantu Chevrolet has been provided the attached statement twice before. Stating that NOTHING they did to begin with was the problem.
