Complaint: BOUGHT A USED 4 TON **** AIR CONDITIOING UNIT FOR 800.00 INSTALLED.FROM ***** WELL IT STOPPED WORKING WARRANTY STATES THAT IT DOES NOT EXPIRE UNTIL SEPTEMBER 12, 2013 . WE HAVE MADE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO CALL HIM DID TALK TO HIM ONE TIME AND SAID HE WOULD HONOR THE WARRANTY. BUT SINCE THEN HAS IGNORED PHONE CALLS HAVE LEFT MESSAGES EVEN SEND A PICTURE OF CONTRACT BY PHONE NO RESPONSE. ALL WE WANT IS FOR HIM TO COME LOOK AT IT AND FIX IT AND HONOR WHAT HE SAID..
Business Response: MR. AND MRS. ***** DID PURCHASE A USED UNIT FOR $800 FROM MY COMPANY OVER A YEAR AGO. THE WARRANTY WAS FOR 6 MONTHS ONLY. I DID SPEAK WITH MR ***** LAST MONTH IN WHICH HE STATED THE UNIT HAD STOPPED WORKING AND HAD IT CHECKED BY ANOTHER AC COMPANY BEFORE HE NOTIFIED ME. THEY DISCOVERED IT WAS LOW ON FREON. IN ORDER TO CHECK IF FREON IS LOW THE UNIT HAS TO BE RUNNING MEANING THE UNIT ITSELF IS WORKING BUT THERE IS A LEAK LOCATED IN A DIFFERENT AREA THAT I DID NOT PLACE AND NOT IN THE UNIT ITSELF THEREFORE I CAN NOT WARRANTY THIS
