Complaint: I purchased a new have system from this firm 2 years ago which included a 10 year warranty. The unit broke,condenser leaking. The firm the replaced the coil but charged me 751.00 for a product sti under warranty. Included was a charge for refrigerant that was lost due to the failed part. Spoke to the owner who offered NO remedy. I consider this to be unacceptable and a warranty in name only. I request a refund or a 50% reduction in this charge.

Desired Settlement: 50 % reduction in charge

Business Response: We have resolved this complaint with the customer by issuing a partial refund in an amount agreed upon by both parties. The manufacturer's warranty on the equipment is still active, but it does not cover any labor or refrigerant that was lost due to the equipment failure. The expenses that were not covered by warranty were not made clear to the customer before installation, and when our office called him to make sure he understood the total, he thought we gave him an amount that was lower than whet we quoted. The repair was completed to his satisfaction and is working properly today, and we consider this complaint to have been resolved to the satisfaction of both the customer and our company.
